The Edit

Home. So much goes into our feeling of home. Our space, soul, food, our overall health + well being, all bring us to a place of peace, a sense of ease when we feel at home. We have brought you The Edit by Mill + Co. lifestyle and home goods. We will share so much here that expands beyond the painted walls + stained wood floors. This brand that started with the love of curating assortments to bring warmth and comfort to your home which then transitioned into interior design. Taking cozy quick shelf adds to the next level through a bigger lens; paint colors, furniture, linens, + structural changes to bring beauty to your space. We have enjoyed these parts of Mill + Co. so much and will now start to share beyond the paint chips, candles, + bring you all aspects of our daily lives that bring us Home. A centered place within ourselves that fits perfectly within our beautifully designed walls.

Design Inspiration

Design Tip 1:

Pantone 13-1023 Peace Fuzz, is the Color of the Year for 2024. We are styling this color with a palette of warm earthy tones + loving the direction change from years prior. Take a look again at the mood board above that we put together + get inspired this Winter.

Design Tip 2:

We all start the New Year with new intentions to rewrite old habits. But can we continue them? Building new habits takes only a few minutes a day consistently for 6 weeks to get the momentum it needs to continue. A workout doesn’t have to be an hour, 15-20 minutes works, journaling takes only about 5 minutes and meditation can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Add another 6 weeks + that habit has traction to continue strong for another 6 weeks. Falling off happens, then you open your book back up + start again. Do not stop because you missed a day or 2. Continue on + evolve into the person you want to become. Need a little guidance, check out our Daily Pause Journal which has been a part of our lineup since the beginning. Mini Meditation Journals coming back into stock soon.

Our Founder enjoys restarting The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday each year. This book gives us insight to the human mind + how we respond to daily moments to understand + act instead of react with good intension.

“All you need are these: certainty of judgment in the present moment; action for the common good in the present moment; and an attitude of gratitude in the present moment for anything that comes your way.” - Ryan Holiday

Good Eats

Chicken Tzatziki Bowls. Need we say more? Half Baked Harvest always has our hearts when it comes to foods + this season our team is focused on being more mindful of preparing meals. Salads don’t have to be boring or super healthy, we know this, they can be comforting. Indulge with us.
